BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James stopped at a Stirling cafe for fish and chips as part of his Sport Relief challenge.

The broadcaster made a pit stop at The Real Food Cafe in Tyndrum during his Three Peaks Challenge.

James, who is undertaking what he describes as the #Gregathlon, had to abandon his previous attempt at the end of February as the UK suffered extreme snow conditions.

However, James is completing the challenge, and on Thursday cycled from Abington to Fort William and scaled Ben Nevis yesterday.

The Real Food Cafe is popular refuelling point on the A82 for participants of the Three Peaks Challenge.

Cafe owner Sarah Heward said: “The cafe team has been following Greg’s journey since he started at the end of February and were sorry to hear that the weather had seemingly put a kibosh on his attempt. We were therefore delighted to hear that Greg will be completing the challenge, but also that he was stopping by the cafe.”
