TORY MP Ross Thomson has been hit with fresh allegations after a Scottish MP came forward to say that he too has been a victim of unwanted physical contact from Thomson.

The Aberdeen South MP is already under investigation over complaints of unwanted "sexual touching" following a drunken incident in a Westminster bar.

According to the Daily Record, the accusations prompted a Scots MP to come forward who claims he was also groped by Thomson late last year.

He also accused Thomson of attempting to "gaslight" those involved, meaning that he has attempted to manipulate targets into doubting their own version of events.

Following the incident in the Stranger's Bar, Thomson released a statement claiming that the accusations were "completely false", but the Scots MP slammed his “brazen and persistent denials” and said they are “an attempt to gaslight those people he has assaulted”.

Speaking to the Record, the MP said “I hope this will give some reassurance to others who have been affected and have felt less able to come forward formally.”

An official statement to the Parliament's sexual harrassment hotline has been made.

Following the initial allegations, Thomson's ex-husband tweeted that they were “good insight into why we are no longer together”.

Thomson, while denying the allegations, has referred himself to the Tory Party’s in-house disciplinary panel.

The Scottish Conservatives said they couldn't comment as the internal party investigation is still ongoing.
