The pair spoke about a range of subjects, including Gaza, Keir Starmer and the possibility of an incoming Labour government as well as Scottish independence.
The First Minister questioned whether or not he believed Starmer is fit for high office and urged the Labour leader not to blindly follow the US should he become the next prime minister.
During the interview, Yousaf also spoke about convincing people to vote for Scottish independence.
